Saratoga Clay Arts Center, founded in 2011 by Jill Fishon-Kovachick, is dedicated to the creation and education of the clay arts. The center's mission is to promote and develop the clay arts by providing creative and educational resources for clay artists and educators. These resources include, classes, studio space, materials, diverse firing opportunities, workshops, and artist residencies. Our team will coach emerging artists to perfect their work. Our gallery promotes emerging, mid-career and established clay artists and brings together artists and enthusiasts.
Your membership fee will be used for the advancement of the ceramic arts in our region and will fund exhibitions by contemporary local, regional, national and international ceramic artists, as well as historical and architectural ceramics; classes and workshops for children and adults at all skill levels; studio spaces for artists; and a sales gallery representing many top ceramic artists from the region and elsewhere. We require all youth students, SCAC tenant artists, and Open Studio Time students to be active Members.
