Thursday PM Session 1- Untraditional Clay
Thursday PM Session 1- Untraditional Clay
There is tremendous potential in a ball of clay. It can be shaped into a sturdy vessel to cheers on a graduation day, carved with a fine lip to sip tea with an elder. It can teach you about line, about negative space, about surface and about who we are as makers. This is a class that will hone both hand building and wheel throwing skills but will explore untraditional uses of clay that will help students build a better understanding of themselves as object makers.
